TWO Bradford men appeared in court today in connection with an attempted carjacking in Halifax.
Frank Simpson, 36, of Mandale Road, Horton Bank Top, and Jordan Hartley, 27, of Denbrook Close, Tong, are accused of two robberies, threatening a person with an offensive weapon, and possession of an imitation firearm.
The charges relate to two offences that happened at an Esso petrol station in Tong and in a Sainsbury's car park in Halifax on Thursday.
Simpson and Hartley were remanded in custody after appearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court. Their next court appearance will be a preliminary hearing at Bradford Crown Court on December 29.
