Firefighters tackled a scooter blaze in Birstall
A SCOOTER was destroyed by a fire after being dumped in a field and set alight.
Fire crews from Cleckheaton station were called to Dark Lane, Birstall, at 2.30am today.
A spokesman for the station said crews had to "ferry water to and from the job" because of where the scooter was.
"It was destroyed," he added.
