A DRIVER who rammed a police vehicle in a car containing drugs, is being hunted.

Officers were on patrol in the Barkerend Road area of Barkerend, Bradford, on Friday, August 26, when their attention was drawn to a Vauxhall Corsa car which was being badly driven.

They followed the vehicle into Feather Road where it disappeared from sight.

The officers then spotted the car coming towards them. They tried to move out of the way, but the Corsa hit the police vehicle, in what was believed to be a deliberate act.

The driver and passenger made off on foot.

The vehicle was seized and searched and a quantity of suspected class A drugs and cash were found.

Inquiries are continuing to trace the driver and passenger.
