A GROUP protested outside a Bradford slaughterhouse urging people to turn vegan and stop the killing of chickens.
West Yorkshire Save was outside Yorkshire Poultry Products, in Hammerton Street, today.
A group of 40 protesters held up placards including signs saying: 'Beep to support mercy for chickens going to slaughter'.
The group holds vigils for pigs and chickens being transported to slaughter.
Protester Andrew Garner said: "We want to change the hearts and minds of people.
"People were beeping their support to us. We don't want chickens to be slaughtered and see this as a massive issue.
"We want to say that you don't want to kill animals anymore."
No-one from Yorkshire Poultry Products was available to comment when contacted by the Telegraph and Argus.
