A MOPED has been seized after officers spotted it being 'erratic' riding on Carr Lane, in Wrose.
The bike was followed and stopped in Leeds Road by police.
The rider was found to be using on a provisional licence with no L plates and without insurance.
The bike was seized and the rider reported for a number of offences, following the incident which happened on Sunday.
A spokesman for the West Yorkshire Police nuisance bike team said: βItβs just not worth the risk of losing your driving licence and more importantly to drive and ride around uninsured is not fair for everyone else who pays their premiums. This rider will be facing a court appearance and will have to obtain insurance before his bike can be released.β
