THE Bradford Branch of the National Union of Teachers has announced it will take part in a national strike on July 5 over cuts to schools.
The union said funding for education was being “drastically cut” in real terms, and that this pressure will become worse when the National Funding Formula is introduced next year.
Members of the union will meet in the Midland Hotel at 10.30am on July 5.
Ian Murch, Bradford spokesman for the NUT, said: “Bradford deserves and needs more, not less, and that is what NUT members are standing up for.”
