A MAN caught red-handed holding a bag containing more than 100 wraps of Class A drugs has been jailed for 32 months.
Mohammed Hannan (pictured) pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine on November 17 last year.
Prosecutor Ben Thomas said police saw Hannan selling drugs to addicts on Mansfield Road, Manningham, Bradford, and Crag Road, Shipley.
Hannan, 30, of Fearnsides Road, Manningham, told the police he was dealing to pay off a debt. He bought his own drugs and sold them for a profit. He had a previous conviction dating from 2007 for supplying Class A drugs.
Hannan’s barrister, Shufqat Khan, yesterday told Bradford Crown Court his client was bullied into selling drugs by dealers who caught up with him after eight years.
They said he owed them £1,200 after drugs were seized from him by the police in 2007.
