POLICE have arrested two men after a truck owner was injured as he tried to his vehicle being stolen from outside his Bradford home.
The 50-year-old victim remains in a stable condition in hospital after suffering serious injuries to his chest, legs and back in the incident, which happened in Felcourt Drive, Holme Wood, at about 4.15am on Tuesday.
Armed police attended after the black Mitsubishi L200 Animal pick up truck was stolen. The vehicle was found six hours later, abandoned in Bell House Avenue, Bierley.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said two 18-year-old Holme Wood men had been arrested on Wednesday. One handed himself in at Trafalgar House police station and was later released without charge.
The second teenager was arrested at an address in Holme Wood and was later released on bail pending further inquiries.
