Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

A man, who did not wish to be named, said he was sat in City Park at about 2.30pm when a lot of police actvity began.

He said: "All of a sudden, there seemed to be at least three sirens coming from different parts of the city centre.

"One of the police cars came into City Park and drove straight round to the public toilets near the cafe.

"The cop was talking to the City Park attendant and they seemed to be looking for someone who had perhaps been into the toilet block. At around the same time, another police car was heading up towards the top end of town."
