AFTER standing empty for almost a month, the Chinese Buffet restaurant in Centenary Square will re-open its doors later this month.
The restaurant initially closed on January 19 for a change in management structure and was due to reopen on January 22, but has remained closed ever since.
New owner and manager of the restaurant, Daniel Ng, revealed he was planning to reopen on February 21, trading under the name Buffet Central.
He said: "The reopening has been delayed because of a change in management, and we have also been doing some refurbishment work in the kitchen.
"We are looking to be open on February 21, and just want the reopening to go smoothly for us and for our customers, we are not planning any sort of grand re-opening."
Mr Ng said that the restaurant is still owned be the same company as before, but will just be trading under a different name.
