FIREFIGHTERS had to free a person from a car after a crash in Bradford today.
Two cars collided on Thornton Road, at its junction with Rosse Street, at about 11.05am.
Crews from Bradford fire station cut the driver's door off one of the vehicles.
A fire service spokesman said: "Two cars were involved and one person was trapped."
Police said the cars involved were a black Volkswagen Jetta and a black Volkswagen Golf.
A police spokesman said the Golf had some unpackaged raw meat in the boot.
He added that fire crews freed the trapped person.
Thornton Road was closed in the direction of Bradford city centre, from the junction with Ingleby Road and Whetley Lane.
