Recovery vehicle and van damaged in fire
A RECOVERY vehicle and a Transit van that was on it were damaged by a fire in Brighouse last night.
The blaze started in the recovery vehicle and spread to the van, said firefighters from Rastrick fire station.
Fire crews were called to Bridge Street at about 8.05pm and managed to contain the flames to the front of both vehicles.
A spokesman said the cause of the blaze was under investigation, and added: "It had been parked up for a couple of days."
