Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died after suffering a suspected heart attack at the wheel in Wilsden yesterday.
At about 10.25am, a bronze-coloured Volvo V40 was turning left into Farndale Road from Crooke Lane, when it left the carriageway and hit a signpost, close to the junction with Derwent Avenue.
Emergency services were called to Farndale Road after reports a car had crashed into a garden.
The driver, a 79-year-old man from Bradford, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary, but died a short time later.
No other vehicles are believed to be involved.
Anyone that witnessed the incident, or the movements of the Volvo prior to it, is asked to contact PC 1927 Muskett at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101.
