SCORES of singing hopefuls are descending on Bradford's Kirkgate Centre today as the X Factor's biggest-ever audition tour visits the city.
The hit show's mobile audition van arrived at 9.30am, with enthusiastic pop star wannabes already queuing up to show off their vocal skills.
Encased in a specially-constructed X Factor pod, the singers will have their performances filmed in front of members of the show's talent-spotting team.
First to sing this morning was 23 year-old Sam Cook, from Wibsey, who tried to wow the judges with her version of the Celine Dion song, 'I'm Alive'.
"I've done karaoke, but I've never sung in public before," she said.
"I was really nervous, but everyone was really friendly and put me at ease."
Bradford is one of 41 towns and cities being visited by the mobile audition van over the coming months, and singers have until 5.30pm today to perform.
