A FAMILY fun day is being held on Sunday as part of a campaign to educate the city’s emerging generation about the dangers of getting involved in gun and knife crime.
The Justice4All group, set up by three Bradford mums, said it aimed to help teenagers stay on the right side of the law and to contribute to their communities where they live.
Nichola Florence and along with friends Kelly Calvert, 31, of Stirling Crescent, Holme Wood, and Sarah Clark, 29, of Belmont Rise, Wyke, have planned the event at Cafe West, Wanstead Crescent, Allerton, on Sunday, from 11am- until 5pm.
Speakers will talk about the consequences of crime and children will perform the shuffle dance. Rehearsals have been taking place around the estates where the organisers live.
Miss Florence, of Kildare Crescent, Allerton, said: “We want to educate them on basic laws which affect them, we want to make a difference.”
