CULT classic Love Will Tear Us Apart will blast out at Bingley Music Live as Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook and his band are one of six new names on the line up.

Peter Hook and the Light formed in 2010 and members include his son Jack Bates, on bass. The band's Myrtle Park performance will feature Joy Division and New Order albums.

Guest vocalists at previous live shows have included Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins.

Labrinth, Ash, Cast, Funeral For a Friend and Rae Morris are the other acts to join headliners James, Embrace and Ella Eyre on the line up for what is dubbed the 'last great party of the summer' from September 4 to 6.

Multi-talented Labrinth is an extraordinary addition to the bill.

The singer, songwriter and producer is not constrained by one music genre, straddling R&B, dance, soul, hip-hop, electronic, gospel, drum and bass, dubstep, grime and garage to name a few.

In 2010 he was the first non-talent show signing to Simon Cowell's Syco Music label in six years.

Labrinth has collaborated with Tinie Tempah on Pass Out, who also featured on Labrinth's Earthquake.

Northern Ireland's Ash will storm into Bingley following the release of their seventh studio album Kablammo! They arrived armed with an arsenal of anthemic hits, such as 'Girl from Mars, Angel Interceptor, Oh Yeah and the Ivor Novello Award-winning song Shining Light.

John Power's band Cast emerged from the mid-1990s Britpop scene and have a string of anthems for festival goers to sing along to, including Finetime, Sandstorm and Walkaway.

After a split in 2001, the band reformed in 2010. The single Baby Blue Eyes was released at the end of 2014 and a new album is due for release this year.

Power has recently been in the studio writing and producing previous Bingley artist John Lennon McCullagh.

Welsh post-hardcore rockers Funeral for a Friend released their debut album Casually Dressed in Conversation in 2003. Matthew Davies-Kreye and the band will bring the very best of their previous six studio albums, as well as new album, Chapter and Verse, released in January 2015.

Bingley Music Live has this year renamed its second stage the Discovery Stage and will bring the very best of new talent from around the country, as well as some more established acts.

The Discovery Stage will continue to fulfil the second stage's commitment to bringing 'next year's talent today'.

Coun Andrew Thornton, Executive Member for Environment and Sport, said: "These six new acts help ensure the line up for this year's event will be an eclectic mix, with something to suit most music tastes. We recommend everyone watches this space for further announcements."
