SOCIETIES and sports clubs at the University of Bradford danced, sang and played computer games to raise money for charity and an upcoming ball.

The Colours Carnival fundraiser took place in the Students' Union building when societies such the Infuzion Dance Society, the Engineering Society, the Islamic Society and the Ravens cheerleaders set up stalls.

They were raising money for the Colours Ball in April, one of the university's biggest social events and charities including the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal.

The Music Society provided live music through the day, Infuzion dancers performed energetic street routines and the Archery Society taught students bow skills on an outdoor area of the campus.

It is the second year the Union has organised such an event.
