Empty pub may be converted into a house
AN EMPTY pub in Great Horton looks unlikely to reopen after plans to turn it into a house were submitted to Bradford Council.
The Southfield Hotel in Southfield Lane shut over two years ago, and has been boarded up ever since.
Although it has been marketed as a pub since it shut, this week A Rashid applied to change the use of the building from a pub to an eight-bedroom house for use by his family.
