A SCHOOL found a colourful way of getting its anti-bullying message across.
All the pupils, staff and governors at Clayton Village primary school got their hands messy, creating hand-print leaves for an ‘anti-bullying tree’.
As each child or adult added their hand-print to the giant artwork they said a big ‘no’ to bullying.
It was one of a number of ways the school marked national anti-bullying week, deputy head teacher Yvonna Georghiou said.
She added: “Each class has been learning about different types of bullying, like cyber-bullying, verbal or physical bullying.”
Pupils Ethan Bailey and Shayraz Ahmed took to the ukulele and wrote their own anti-bullying song and performed it to the school in assembly.
The school, put up a banner outside saying, ‘Make a stand, lend a hand to stop bullying’.
