A MASKED robber pushed a female cashier to the floor in a "frightening" raid at a Bradford post office last night.
The raider went the post office in The Parade, Holme Wood, at about 5.10pm and made demands for cash.
He forced the cashier to open the safe and took a quantity of cash, before striking the victim and pushing her to the floor.
He then left the premises in an unknown direction.
The woman suffered slight bruising to her face.
The suspect is described as about six feet tall and of medium build.
He was wearing a tight balaclava mask with small eyeholes, a dark blue jacket, plain black tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers, which were described as 'scruffy'.
Detective Inspector Neil Benstead, of Bradford District CID, said: "This would have been a frightening experience for the cashier, who was intimidated by the suspect.

"We believe there might have been another suspect involved, after the raider shouted to someone to 'start the car', but at this stage it is still unknown whether that was the case."
"If anyone saw anything suspicious in The Parade area of Holme Wood yesterday between 5pm and 5.30pm, I would urge them to call Bradford District CID on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
