YOUNG golfers lit up the fairways during a glow-in-the-dark round of golf.
About 20 junior members – aged five to 18 years – took part in Baildon Golf Club’s first Night Golf event.
They wore fluorescent clothing and used special glow-in-the-dark kit to play some of the holes on the moorland golf course. Different coloured lights were used to indicate tees, fairways, greens and holes.
Stuart Brooke, who runs the club’s junior section, said: “The Night Golf a bit different and a treat for the juniors. It’s fantastic to see the junior section thriving.”
Jack Willis, nine, who has been playing golf for two years, said: “It was good fun being out in the dark.”
The club will hold a Night Golf event for senior members on December 12.
