Spinning a yarn about mill days
FIND out more about the history of Manningham at Bingley & District Local History Society’s latest talk on Thursday, November 13.
Author Mollie Somerville presents ‘People through the Mill’ where she will discuss her book of the same name which she co-wrote with Peter Nias.
The talk will chart what has happened in Manningham over the past 150 years.
The event will be held at Church House, All Saints Parish Church, Church Street, Ilkley from 7pm to 9pm. Admission is £2.
The book’s co-author Mr Nias, an honorary visiting research fellow at Bradford University, has lived in Manningham since 2000.
