AN evening with charity canoeist Robin Naylor, who paddled 112 miles from Malham Tarn to Hull's Humber Bridge to raise funds for Aquabox, is being held next month The Rotary River Aire Challenge took place in September and saw him pass through Skipton, Keighley, Bingley, Shipley, Baildon and Apperley Bridge on his way to the tidal estuary.
Aquabox provides aid for communities worldwide where fresh drinking water is unavailable.
Bradford West Rotary Club is hosting this one-off evening in celebration of Robin's challenge. It will be held on Wednesday, November 19, from 7pm, at Sandal Farm Restaurant, Thornton. Tickets cost £15, including a buffet meal and are available by calling (01535) 272780 or by emailing anne@bradfordwestrotary.org.
