Celebrated jazz singer to perform
JOYCE Bryant, one of the best jazz singers in the Bradford area, is the guest artist at Undercliffe Cricket Club’s free weekly jazz session tomorrow from 9pm to 11pm.
A regular at Bradford Mecca in the early 1970s who also appeared in the 80s at Bingley’s Bankfield Hotel, Joyce was originally with the Joe Markey Quartet before joining Les Sans Nom and then the Peter Stuart Band. Accompanying her is saxophonist Rod ‘Room Darkener’ Mason.
