A BRADFORD composer is looking forward to making his debut at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Bobby R. Sarwar, a pianist and composer and music teacher at Parkinson Lane Community Primary in Halifax, and Shahbaz Hussain, a World-renowned tabla player and assistant musical director, have taught Qawwal "Tumhein Dil lagi" to 650 children from Parkinson Lane Community Primary and Calderdale Music Service ahead of their performance on November 10.
The Calderdale Massed Ensemble will perform at the 'Metamorphosis' themed concert in the first of three evenings of the Schools Prom concert series presented by national youth music organisation - Music for Youth.
Mr Sarwar said: "It is a wonderful opportunity to perform and conduct the orchestra. I've never been to the Royal Albert Hall so it is a wonderful opportunity to have a part in this festival."
