AN open meeting to brainstorm ideas on next year's Bradford Pride event will be held next week.
The Bradford Pride annual meeting and open meeting will take place in the Equity Centre, Longlands Street, Bradford, on Tuesday from 7pm.
A committee for the next year will be elected and afterwards there will be an open meeting to give the wider community an opportunity to shape the future for the next Pride event, and offer people the opportunity to get involved with taking the event forward.
Bradford Pride is a celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Trans (LGBT) rights, and the committee is preparing for its tenth year.
This year's Pride event, held in May, attracted 10,000 people to Centenary Square.
Ann Morgan, chairman of Bradford Pride Committee, said: “We are always looking to make Bradford Pride bigger and better.
"The aim of the open meeting is to try to reach a broader spectrum of our community and ensure that everyone feels that Pride is for them and is inclusive.”
