POLICE are to check for links between an arson attack on a family car and previous incidents of deliberate damage.
Hundreds of pounds damage was caused when the distinctive Subaru Impreza (pictured) had petrol poured over it and was set alight outside the home of its owners, Sajid and Shaheen Mahmood, in Glendare Road, Lidget Green, Bradford, at 2.30am on Monday.
The arson happened only weeks after the car was deliberately rammed and the windscreen smashed with a hammer.
Police confirmed they had received a report of an arson attack and the vehicle had been previously damaged.
A spokesman said: "As part of our inquiries into this latest incident, we will be reviewing any similarities with the earlier incident and following up any lines of inquiry identified."
