An altercation in Bradford city centre sparked a major police response this afternoon.
The confrontation, which happened at a bus stop in Sunbridge Road at about 3.15pm, saw at a least seven police cars and dozens of officers scrambled to the scene.
Some officers, having received notification of the unfolding drama, sprinted out of the police office at City Hall and across Centenary Square to the scene of the fracas to provide back-up.
A police spokesman confirmed the disturbance had involved a number of people, although no details were given as to what caused the incident.
A large crowd had gathered to watch the tense scenes and police officers worked hard to disperse the onlookers.
