TWO women forced three burglars to flee empty-handed during a night-time raid at a house in Bradford.
The trio, dressed in dark clothing, forced their way through the side door of a property in Whetley Lane, Girlington, at about 12.50am today.
There was then an altercation between the raiders and two women in the house, before the men fled the scene.
Police said a 61-year-old woman cut her hand during the incident and needed treatment.
One of the men involved was believed to be white and wearing a grey tracksuit top.
Detective Inspector Neil Benstead, of Bradford District CID, said: "The occupants were both left shaken by this incident and we are keen to trace those responsible, who we believe were last seen heading towards Fairbank Road.
"Anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity in Whetley Lane or Fairbank Road in the time leading up to, or shortly after this incident, is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
