A DONKEY sanctuary is one of four good causes to benefit after four Bradford friends completed a 30 mile charity trek in the Lake District.
Sarah Dembickjy, 24, an activity support worker from Clayton, raised £185 for the sanctuary through sponsorship for the challenge, which took 11 hours to complete.
She walked together with Jenny, Sophie and Sian trekked who raised money for Bowel Cancer UK, The Motor Neurone Disease Association, The British Heart Foundation and The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
Sarah chose The Donkey Sanctuary Leeds, in Eccup, because she had grown up with donkeys as pets.
