Man in court charged with Jade's murder
A man, accused of the murder young Bradford mother-of-two Jade Watson, made a further brief appearance before a judge today.
James Gray, 25, of Wood Lane, Swain House, Bradford, made a seven-minute appearance in front of the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, at the city’s crown court.
Gray, who has short light brown hair and was wearing blue jeans, a blue denim jacket and white T-shirt, sat with his hands clasped together during the hearing, which confirmed a date of January 20 for a plea and case management hearing and a trial date of April 30.
His barrister, Cairns Nelson QC said a second post-mortem examination had been carried out and a psychological report would be available by the end of January.
He was further remanded in custody until the next hearing.
Jade Watson, 22, the mother of a four-year-old son and two-year-old daughter, was found dead in a caravan behind a house in Wood Lane last month.
