Bradford City mascot Lenny Berry claims a hand-made lucky charm which he wears at every match helped the club to Wembley glory and promotion.
When the original City Gent pendant was lost Lenny turned to Christopher Stoner Jewellery in Shipley, which made the original, to remodel the pendant.
After getting the new one, Lenny saw City go on their winning run which led to last weekend’s Wembley play-off final victory and promotion to League One.
Victoria Whiteley, award-winning designer at the firm, said: “It was an honour to design and hand make the City Gent pendant for Mr Berry. Since the creation of the new pendant, the Bradford City Football team have been on a winning streak. Maybe the pendant is the City Gent Mascot’s good luck charm.”
