Two people injured in four-vehicle collision on M62

A woman and a girl were treated for minor head injuries after a four-vehicle smash on the M62 today.
The collision happened at about 4.30pm on the outside lane of the eastbound carriageway, near junction 27 at Gildersome.
Two lanes were closed as paramedics treated the woman, 40, and the girl, 12, who had been travelling in a Ford Focus.
The motorway was clear again by 5.30pm but there are still residual delays of up to 40 minutes.
