John Fabianski, an Allerton man who went missing on Tuesday, has been found dead on farmland in the Allerton area.

West Yorkshire Police launched an appeal on Tuesday for any help locating the 41-year-old, from Grange Drive, Allerton, but the search came to a sad end this morning.

He was last seen at 4pm on Tuesday, and his disappearance led to extensive police searches across the county and over its boarders and images of Mr Fabianski and his car were released as part of a public appeal for information.

But this afternoon, the police released a statement saying: “Sadly, Mr Fabianski was found dead this morning on farmland in the Allerton area. There are no suspicion circumstances.

“Media and members of the public are thanked for their assistance during the search.”

Mr Fabianski was a graduate of the University of Hull.
