- A former bingo hall on Leeds Road at Fox Corner, Shipley is engulfed in flames tonight.
- Smoke poured into the night sky as it billowed out of windows in the 1930s building which seemed on the verge of collapse.
- At least seven fire engines and a command module are at the scene battling the flames, while police closed off the main Leeds Road.
- Hundreds of onlookers are watching the operation.

Fire crews at the scene said the building is now in danger of collapse, but would probably collapse inwards.
Flames have largely now been extinguished, but smoke continues to pour from the building, and firemen will be at the scene for several hours pouring water on the building and damping down.

No surrounding or nearby buildings are thought to be affected by the blaze which started sometime around 8pm.
