Arsonists have been blamed for a car fire which damaged a sports centre in Bradford today.
The city’s firefighters were called to a snooker and football centre at Greystone Mill in Feather Road, Bradford Moor, at 3.50pm.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said a Honda Civic, which was up against the side of the building, was set ablaze.
The spokesman said: “The fire got up inside the cladding of the building. It caused that to fracture and to pop and smoke had got into the hall itself, in the football area, although nobody was there at the time.”
Police are investigating.
