Motorcyclist air lifted to hospital after collision with van

A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries following a crash near Cleckheaton this afternoon.
His bike was in collision with a van on the A649 Halifax Road in Scholes, near the junction with Walton Lane.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary following the 2.35pm crash.
Halifax Road is currently closed in both directions.
