Horse injured in collision with car in Birkenshaw

A horse has been injured in a collision with a car in Birkenshaw.
Police say the animal was knocked down near the fire station on the A58 Whitehall Road East at 4.30pm.
The car, which was heading towards Leeds, was damaged in the crash.
