Loose horses cause traffic chaos in Bradford
8:52am Tuesday 30th October 2012 in Bradford
By Hannah Postles, T&A Reporter
Loose horses are causing traffic chaos after straying onto a dual carriageway near Thornbury roundabout in Bradford this morning.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said officers received a number of reports from concerned members of the public who spotted the animals in the road in the Dick Lane area at around 8.10am.
One resident reported spotting a brown and white horse walking in the road near the roundabout.
A second claimed to have seen two horses running across the road trailing tether rope.
The spokesman said officers are assisting at the scene and monitoring it on CCTV.
He added: “The incident is ongoing.”
