Ingrow Primary School gets breakfast club grant

One of the district’s primary schools has received a £450 grant to help fund its breakfast club.

Ingrow Primary School is among 500 nationally to be awarded cash by Kellogg’s.

The company launched a campaign in October after research showed one in eight breakfast clubs had been forced to close due to funding cuts.

Angela Vinnicombe, head of school at Ingrow, said: “The grant will really help our club and we’ll look forward to spending the money on some new equipment including crockery, cutlery and some games for the children.”
