CID appeal after Helen Walker, 54, reported missing from home yesterday afternoon

Police are appealing for help to trace a missing Silsden woman.

Helen Walker, who is 54 and works in Skipton, was reported missing from her home yesterday (Tues) afternoon.

Airedale and North Bradford CID want to speak to anyone who may have seen or has information about her.

She was last seen at a hotel in Northumbria this morning (Wed) and is believed to either still be in the area or back in Yorkshire.

She is believed to be driving a silver Ford Fiesta registration number DN55ZCE.

Her description is white, 5ft 1ins tall and of a heavy build with short straight brown hair with grey flecks and scarring on her chin and cheeks. She speaks with a local accent and was last seen wearing dark clothing and trousers.

Detective Inspector John Mountain of West Yorkshire Police, said: "We have concerns for Helen's welfare and would ask her or anyone who has information about her whereabouts to get in touch to let both us and her family know she is safe.

Anyone who has seen Helen or her vehicle should contact Airedale and North Bradford CID on 0845 60 60 606 as soon as possible.
