AN Easter egg hunt takes place in Keighley town centre on Saturday (Mar 31).

People are being invited to seek out special animal pictures in shop windows.

And there will be Easter eggs and seasonal goody bags up for grabs.

Entry forms for the event, between 10am and 4pm, will be available in the Airedale Shopping Centre and Cavendish Street.

The hunt is among several activities, including giveaways and free face painting and balloon modelling, being staged that day.

Behind the initiative is Keighley BID, in conjunction with the shopping centre.

Free parking will be available at the centre on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday. The centre is closed on Easter Sunday.

Centre manager, Steve Seymour, said: "We are looking forward to a very busy weekend.

"We're pleased to be able to team-up with the BID to provide free parking – it not only helps customers save money but allows them more time with their friends and family in the town."

Keighley BID manager, Paul Howard, said: "We are delighted to be hosting another grand giveaway in the town centre. We'll be on Cavendish Street and in the shopping centre with entry forms for the Easter egg hunt all day.

"Every correct, completed entry will receive a prize and there will be two giant Easter eggs up for grabs."
