THREE cars were taken off the roads in Keighley yesterday by police for a variety of offences.
The first car, a red Vauxhall Vectra, was picked up by West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit at around 4.20pm in Staveley Road in Ingrow.
Police tweeted the vehicle was uninsured, its MOT has expired last month, and its tax had expired in April last year, and the car was seized and the driver reported.
The second car was picked up ten minutes after it was suspected to have been used in a burglary in the town.
Officers stopped the Volkswagen Golf GTD on the A650 in Keighley at around 5.30pm, and its three occupants arrested and the vehicle seized.
The final seizure of the day took place in Goose Cote Lane in Oakworth at around 8pm, when RPU officers stopped a black Renault Clio and found the driver was uninsured and had no driving licence.
The RPU tweeted: " Driver has no licence or insurance. Now has no car and a court appearance to look forward to."
