SANTAS, elves and reindeer could be running round Lund Park on Sunday.
Organisers of the monthly Parkrun in the Keighley park are asking children to wear something festive if they wish.
All children and their families are welcome to the run on December 3 at 9am in the park off Oakworth Road and Malsis Road.
Jo Horrox, one of the organisers, said: “The Lund Park junior trial run continues to grow and at our November run we had 32 children taking part.”
The Parkrun is a worldwide movement where 5km timed runs are held every week at specific locations, with free entry and open to all. The junior versions last 2km.
The Lund Park event is not yet an official Junior Parkrun, but organisers eventually hope to attract enough volunteers to run them weekly.
Future runs in Lund Park will be on Sundays January 7, February 4, March 4, April 1, May 6 and June 3.
