ORGANISERS of a charity night in aid of Manorlands have hailed the event a huge success.
The extravaganza, staged by the Bronte Vintage Gathering (BVG) team, raised £3,838.
Attractions at the event – at Keighley Rugby Union Football Club – included cake, bottle and surprise parcel stalls, a quiz, raffle and auction.
There was also a pie and peas supper.
The proceeds included £210 raised by BVG members Trish Wood and Annie Thompson at a Wilsden tabletop sale.
"It was a great night and lovely to catch-up with old friends and meet new ones," said Trish.
"We would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who attended, all those who helped out on the night and everybody who donated."
Over the years, the BVG group has raised more than £400,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
It stages the Bronte Vintage Gathering itself in May and harness racing in the summer, plus the charity night.
