FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze in a kitchen.
The fire – at a house in Wignall Avenue, Utley – started when food in the oven set alight.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley and Shipley attended the incident, at 3.30am on Saturday.
Two breathing apparatus sets were worn and a hose reel used to extinguish the flames.
The fire was confined to the oven, but there was some smoke logging to the property.
Smoke alarms alerted the occupants, who escaped the house uninjured.
Neal Andrews, crew commander at Keighley Fire Station, said: "This shows once again the value of having working smoke detectors fitted in your home.
"The incident could have been much more serious had there been no alarms."
