COMMUNITY groups in Keighley have shared in a £9,347 grant payout from the Craven Trust.
The Keighley-based charity has given grants to Haworth Riding for the Disabled to help members prepare to compete in this summer’s Special Olympics National Games.
Oakworth Pre-School were given money for playgroup equipment.
The NEESIE group, which supports single mothers and their children, received a contribution towards course costs.
Craven Trust administrator Rowena Garton said: “With trustees meeting every three months, voluntary and community groups do not have to wait too long before the next round of grants.”
The Craven Trust was set up in 1995 to support local charitable and community activity by giving grants to encourage communities to build a sense of acute local identity and help themselves.
