MANORLANDS fundraising is on the slide – and the hospice is delighted!
More than 140 people took part in a sponsored charity zip wire event at Oxenhope.
The thrillseekers were each raised 30 metres from the ground before plunging down the wire.
Proceeds were split between the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice and Cystic Fibrosis Trust, with each receiving over £4,100.
Organiser Donna Ibbotson, from Haworth, said: “I’d like to say a big thank-you to everyone who took part and made the day so memorable – including my friends and family who helped on the day, Linda and Jonathan Heaton who gifted us the use of their field and Jane at Refreshments for providing catering.”
