A 99-YEAR-OLD woman was given oxygen by firefighters after she inhaled fumes from a burning pan.
She had inadvertently left the pan unattended at her terrace home in Lister Street, Keighley.
Firefighters were alerted by a Careline system shortly after 7pm on Monday.
One crew from Keighley Fire Station attended and used a special high-pressure ventilation fan to clear the fumes.
Watch commander Michael Rhodes said: "We gave the lady some oxygen as a precautionary measure and she was OK.
"Some smoke detectors were fitted, but we upgraded those while we were there."
