Major road closed after three-vehicle crash
The A629 Skipton to Cross Hills road is closed close to the Cononley turn off after a three vehicle crash.
North Yorkshire Police reported the accident occurred at 10.44am today and resulted in a temporary closure of the A629.
A police spokesman said: “The road is blocked, so we are asking people to avoid the area at this time.”
The spokesman did not have any details of injuries but confirmed an ambulance had been dispatched to the scene.
Police and ambulance are dealing with the accident at the scene.
